Hildegarde Fast
Hildegarde Fast completed her Doctorate in South African History at the University of Cape Town. She worked as a research co-ordinator at Surplus People Project, a land reform NGO, and at the Financial & Fiscal Commission. She joined the Western Cape Government in 2005, serving variously as Director and Chief Director of Policy & Strategy, Head of Department, and Head of the Energy Security Game Changer. She is currently working with Operation Vulindlela on electricity distribution industry reforms.
