Business Development Officer
Rendani is the Business Development Officer at the EDP, where she is dedicated to expanding the organisation's funding streams. With over a decade of experience in the development sector, Rendani has managed programmes in basic and higher education, with a strong focus on monitoring and evaluation.
In previous roles, Rendani served in International Relations in South Africa’s Department of Basic Education and oversaw a continental monitoring and evaluation initiative at the University of Witwatersrand. This role included working with the Department of Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation, as well as the presidencies of various African countries, including South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Benin, and Ghana. Her recent engagements involved project management for a TVET sector project with the International Youth Foundation, and serving as a Fundraising and Donor Relations Specialist at Corruption Watch.
Rendani holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations (University of Pretoria) with a focus on Politics, International Law, and Public Administration. She has pursued additional training in Spanish, French, Business Writing, and Financial Management. She is committed to driving tangible change through partnership and raising the profile of collaborative intermediary organisations like the EDP to support this.
