Anna du Plessis
Anna is a Project Lead at the EDP with a focus on food security and finding collaborative solutions to homelessness.
Anna has worked with grassroots community-based organisations to co-create local strategies aimed at addressing urban poverty and access to land and housing. She has extensive experience in working with residents of informal settlements, street-based communities, and residents of transitional homes, non-governmental stakeholders and local government officials to address issues facing the urban poor. Anna holds a degree in City and Regional Planning, and a Masters in City Planning (University of Cape Town), and has a passion for participatory and collaborative processes in shaping urban spaces.
